Paula A. Moring

Paula A. (Quies) Moring, 54, of Freeport, died Tuesday, December 11, 2018 in her home surrounded by her family. Paula was born January 30, 1964 in Freeport, the daughter of Rodney and Patricia (Orlandi) Quies Sr. Paula married Jeff L. Moring October 20, 2001. Paula owned and operated P.J.'s Stephenson Street Station for 14 years. She was a member of Freeport Eagles Club #679, she also worked there. She enjoyed being outdoors golfing, and boating, she was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys. Most of all Paula liked being with her family, especially all of her grandchildren. Surviving are her parents, Rodney and Pat Quies; husband, Jeff Moring of Freeport; son, Steven (Stephanie Maves) Pirrello of Freeport; daughter, Cortney (Timothy Babler) Kaiser of Orangeville; step-son, Noah (Angela) Miller of Spring Green, Wisconsin; and four grandchildren, Ryker, Colton, Liam, and Eamon. Paula was preceded in death by her grandparents, and one brother, Rodney Quies Jr. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday December 15, 2018 at Burke Tubbs Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. also at Burke Tubbs. Pastor David Carr will officiate. There will also be a visitation 9:30 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday.
