Patrick H. Larkin

Patrick H. Larkin, 72, of Freeport, died Wednesday May 17, 2017 in his home. Patrick was born June 24, 1944 in Cuba City, Wisconsin, the son of Philip and Gertrude (Brandt) Larkin. He married Treasure Huntington on April 16, 1966 in Dubuque, Iowa. Mrs. Larkin passed away on March 6, 2005. Patrick is an U.S. Navy veteran, serving from 1961-1965. He was a member of Freeport Eagles Club #679. Patrick enjoyed his cars, being outdoors, boating, and most of all spending time with his family. He was a Chicago Bear Fan. Patrick always enjoyed being around his beloved dog, Minni. Surviving are his son Darrin Larkin (Norma Velazquez) of Orlando, Florida; daughter, Heidi (Scott) Koester of Freeport; special friend, Wanda Gumms; three grandchildren, Paige (Caz) Wurster, Bayli Larkin, and Triston Koester; also surviving are four great grandchildren. Patrick was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and nine siblings. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Sunday May 21, 2017 at Burke Tubbs Funeral Home. Pastor William Blomberg will officiate. Visitation will be from noon until the time of service. Following the service there will be a celebration of life from 2:00-4:00 P.M. at the Freeport Eagles Club.
