Patricia May Dillon, 69, of Freeport went to meet the Lord with family members present, Tuesday, September, 13 , in her home. She was born May 25, 1942 in Freeport, Illinois the daughter of Frederick and Blanche (Kraft-Rhea) Anderson. On April 19, 1962, Pat married James E. Dillon, Sr. in Leavenworth, Kansas. Mr. Dillon resides in Painesville, Ohio. Mrs. Dillon served in the Women Army Corps in the 1960'™s as a corpsman. Pat retired from nursing in 1995 in Painesville, Ohio where she worked Twelve years in the Emergency Room. She was presently employed at Rolling Hills Progress Center in Lanark where she was employed as Workshop Manager for fifteen years. Pat was a member of the Moose Auxiliary and Eagle'™s Auxiliary. She was a member of Friends of Timberlake Playhouse. Pat was a member of Red Raiders Booster Club in Painesville, Ohio. She served as President for Twenty years and has been inducted into their Hall of Fame. During her term she was able to begin the policy to provide financial support for fifteen sports programs for boys and girls in middle and high school. Pat enjoyed bowling and went to numerous state and national tournaments. She also enjoyed going gambling with the bus groups and co-workers. Mrs. Dillon is survived by her son, James E. Dillon, Jr. of Lake Como, Fla. Three brothers; James (Ruth) Rhea of Freeport, Larry Rhea of Freeport and Ron (Bev) Brubaker of Mankato, Minnesota. Her sister, Lynn Ann Shaw of Savanna, Illinois. Also Five Nieces and One Nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents. Services will be Saturday, 11:00 A.M. in Chapel of Peace at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Freeport. Visitation will be from 9:30 A.M until time of service at the Chapel of Peace. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established for several cancer institutes and Rolling Hills Progress Center.
