Patricia Ann Pasch

Patricia A. Pasch, 65, of Freeport, IL, passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at Freeport Memorial Hospital after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born on August 12, 1949, in Freeport, IL, to Wilbur and Dorothy (LeVeque) Graves. She graduated from Freeport High School in 1967. She married Donald W. Pasch in Freeport, IL on June 17, 1967. During the last few years, she worked as a tutor at Carl Sandburg Middle School. She loved working with the staff and especially loved working with the students. Watching the students she worked with grow and achieve gave her great joy. Patricia loved to shop and travel. She also enjoyed having lunch with her friends, cuddling on the couch with her dog, Sadie, and visiting with her grandchildren. She was a long-time member of ABWA-Jane Addams Chapter. In 1991, she received the recognition of being the chapter's woman of the year. She was also a member of the Eagles Auxiliary. She is survived by Donald Pasch of Freeport, IL; her mother Dorothy (Gary) Hawkinson of Freeport, IL; her daughters, Laurie (Jerry) Luedeking of Freeport, IL, and Stacey (Matthew) May of Plainfield, IL; her sisters Kay (Doyle) Aubrey of Stockton, IL, and Dawn (Bill) Williams of Freeport, IL; her brother William (Carmen) Graves of Freeport, Il; her grandchildren Devin Davidson of Freeport, IL, Cameron, Connor, Caydence, and Matthew May of Plainfield, IL; her step-grandchildren Jason, Jordan, and Jerrad Luedeking; numerous nieces and nephews; and Sadie her dog. She was preceded in death by her father Wilbur Graves and her beloved companion, Jenna. Funeral services will be 5:00 p.m. Monday August 25, 2014 at Burke Tubbs Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service at Burke Tubbs. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery.
