Patricia A. Fogel

Patricia A. Fogel, 86, of Freeport, died Thursday, November 22, 2012 at FHN Memorial Hospital. Patricia was born on July 15, 1926 in Freeport, the daughter of Clement and Marjorie (Whitford) Clarke. On October 12, 1946, Patricia married Thomas R. Fogel in Freeport. Mr. Fogel died on November 9, 1992. Mrs. Fogel was a member of St. Mary'™s Catholic Church, Eagles Club, V.F.W., and the St. Mary'™s Guild. She volunteered in the History Room of the Freeport Public Library, she enjoyed studying Genealogy. Pat and her husband owned and operated Fogel'™s Corner in Orangeville, Fogel'™s Bakery and Pat also ran her own Yarn Shop. She worked at F.H.N. Memorial Hospital for 30 years. She is survived by her daughter, Tracey A. Fogel, of Rockford; sons, Clarke Thomas (Patti) Fogel, Timothy P. Fogel both of Freeport, and Tad M. Fogel of Meza, AZ.; brothers; James R. (Joyce) Clarke of Naperville, Robert 'Ted' (Carol) Clarke of Brevard, N.C., and Marc Clarke of Port Charlotte, FL.; sister, Cynthia S. Akins of Rockford; grandchildren, Jessica, Kristin, Leslie, Jason, and Nicole. Also surviving are 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; son; Terence L. Fogel; sisters, Margie Mae McCorkle and Sally J. Ganshirt; brothers, Charles 'Bud' Clarke and Jon F. Clarke . Funeral Mass will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, November 26, at St. Mary'™s Catholic Church. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 p.m. '" 5:00 p.m. at Burke Tubbs Funeral Home in Freeport. There will also be a visitation Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at St. Mary'™s.
