Pamela R. Irving 71, affectionately known as Pam, of Freeport Illinois passed away on February 28, 2022 at FHN memorial hospital surrounded by family and in the arms of her loving daughter Zara. Pamela was born January 27, 1951 the daughter of Sara Harrell and Robert Shipp. She was raised by Victor and Zearlee Bruce. She grew up in Freeport where she met the love of her life Roy, Roy Howard Sellers Sr. and Pamela created a life and 9 children together. Those children went on to give Pamela 26 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. After the loss of her beloved Roy, Pamela was cared for and loved by her family and friends until her passing. Pamela was a strong-willed woman who loved living life to the fullest and loved to laugh. Pamela excepted Christ as her personal Savior and was a member of Mount Carmel Missionary Baptist Church. She will be missed by many. She leaves behind seven sons, LaMario Baker of Georgia, Darrell (Tina) Sellers, Roy Sellers Jr, Spencer Sellers, Tristan Sellers and Victor Sellers all of Freeport, IL., and Kendrick (Mate') Sellers of Wisconsin; one daughter, Zara (Latasha) Sellers, and special daughter Amanda Eiseman of Freeport, IL.; four brothers, Carl Ellis of Wisconsin, Leroy White of California, Mark White of Freeport and Marvin Moore of Philadelphia; 26 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, Uncle, James Bradford; special friend; Carol Morgan, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. After the passing of Roy, Pamela found new love with Keith Irving. She was preceded in death by her biological parents Sara Harrell and Robert Shipp, her parents that raised her Victor and Zearlee Bruce, daughter Marcia Bruce, brothers Robert Addison and Melvin Wright, and sisters Grace Watkins and Paula Johnson. There will be a visitation on Saturday March 12, 2022 from 1-3 pm at Burke & Tubbs. There will also be a celebration of life following the visitation , from 4pm -7pm at Juniors Place 1802 East Shawnee St Freeport, IL 61032. A Memorial fund has been established in Pamela's memory.
