Pamela Jean Busker

Pamela Jean (Altman) Busker, 65, of Freeport, passed away, Friday November 19, 2021, at Serenity Hospice & Home, Oregon. Pamela was born March 1, 1956, in Freeport, the daughter of John Leonard and Verna Jean (Mercier) Altman. She graduated from Highland Community College Nursing School. She served in the medical field as a Pediatric Licensed Practical Nurse and Coding Analyst/Denials Specialist at Freeport Health Network for 40 years. Pam married Michael L. Busker on March 7, 1997. Mr. Busker died May 8, 2013. Surviving is her son, Stephen (Melody) Altman of Chicago; grandson, Tyson Altman of Chicago; sister, Peggy Altman of Freeport; brother, John Altman Jr. of Freeport; and niece Mariah Altman of Freeport. Pamela was preceded in death by her parents, and husband. Memorial service will be 11:00 am Saturday December 4, 2021, at Harmony United Methodist Church. Chuck Babler will officiate. Visitation 10:00 am until the time of service. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. A memorial has been established for Serenity Hospice and Home in Oregon, IL.
