Norma J. Parriott

Norma J. Parriott, 91, of Freeport, IL passed away Wednesday June 1, 2022 in her home. She was born June 4, 1930 in Freeport, IL the daughter of John Dieterman and Addie Sack. On December 18, 1948 she married Jack Parriott in Elgin, IL. Norma was a beautician for most of her life, running Norma's Beauty Salon out of her home for 40 years. She was also a seamstress and loved to sew. Cooking was another passion of Norma's life. She was a member of the Red Hats. Norma was an active donor to the Friends Forever Humane Society in Freeport and also volunteered at their flea markets. Her participation with the Humane Society came from her great love of dogs. She is survived by her husband of 73 years Jack of Freeport and nephew John (Vickie) Rude of Freeport, IL. She is preceded in death by her parents. There will be no services. Cremation rites have been accorded. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery and Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in Norma's memory to the Friends Forever Humane Society in Freeport.
