Nancy K. Eckert

Nancy K. Eckert, 72, of Freeport, died Monday, February 9, 2015 at F.H.N. Memorial Hospital. Nancy was born on November 19, 1942, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the daughter of Franklin and Kathryn (Richter) Wendorf. Nancy married John 'Jack" Eckert on January 31, 1963, in Milwaukee. Nancy attended the University of Wisconsin. She was a member of the Cedar Lake Yacht Club, Freeport Country Club, and Freeport Elks Lodge #617. Surviving are her husband, John "Jack" Eckert of Freeport; son, Robert Eckert of West Bend, Wisconsin; two daughters, Theresa (Rich) Czarnecki of Bettendorf, Iowa and Cynthia (Jack) Rusher of Chicago. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, Michelle Czarnecki, Annie Czarnecki, and John Czarnecki, Kathryn Rusher, Alie Rusher, and Nick Rusher and Jakob Eckert.
