Namon "Pete" Taylor

Namon 'Pete' Taylor, 51, of Freeport died Monday in his home. He was born January 1, 1960 in Forest City, AK, the son of Robert and Mattie Belle (Johnson) Taylor. He worked at Thermos and Micro Switch in Freeport. Namon is survived by two brothers Albert and Freddie Brown; three sisters Arletha Gladness, Pearlie Nesbitt, and Dorothy Brown; many nieces and nephews from the Freeport, Il and Little Rock, Ak areas; including Barbara Brown, Wayne Pye, and David Pye. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters Bettie Pye-Lacy and Genora Humphrey; a brother Larry Brown; and a nephew Leonard Brown.. A Graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday at Freeport City Cemetery. Vistation will be held from 9:30-10:45 A.M. at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home in Freeport.
