Milfred Robert Korf

Milfred Robert Korf, 74, of Baileyville, died Saturday Mach 19, 2011 in the Beloit Memorial Hospital. Milfred was born March 12, 1937 in Freeport the son of Alfred and Ruth (Vietmeier) Korf. Milfred was a lifelong Baileyville area farmer. Milfred married Carol VanVleet on October 30, 1959 in Oregon, Illinois. Carol died on May 15, 2009. Milfred was a member of the Prairie Dell Presbyterian Church and served on the Board of the Midwest Dairy. Survivors include; one son; Joey Korf of Baileyville, one daughter; Pam (Robert) Taggart of Delmar, Iowa, one brother; Eugene Korf of Milledgeville, 5 grandchildren; Kyle, Justin, Emily, Amanda and Robert and two great grandchildren Hanah and Kaleb. Preceded in death by his parents, wife and one grandson Duane. Funeral Services will be Thursday 10:00 A.M. at the Prairie Dell Presbyterian Church with Rev. Donna Gericke officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Burke Tubbs Funeral Home in Forreston. Burial will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. A memorial has been established in his memory.
