Michelle L. Shugars

Michelle L. Shugars, 36, of Freeport, died, Tuesday November 10, 2015. Michelle was born June 17, 1979 in Dixon, the daughter of Michael and Pamela (Hutchinson) Shugars. Michelle loved to sing Karaoke. She was previously employed at Wal-Mart. Surviving are her mother, Pamela and step-father, Harry Rogers of Freeport; father, Michael (Jackie) Shugars of Hudson, Wisconsin; maternal grandmother, Emma Jean Turney of Polo; brother, Jacob Rogers of Savanna; three sisters, Samantha Rogers and Megan (Brandon) Bartlett both of Savanna and Amy Shugars of Freeport. Also surviving is special friend Todd Meinert of Freeport. Michelle was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, maternal grandfather and a special uncle. Funeral services will be 12:00 P.M. Friday, November 13, 2015 at Burke Tubbs Funeral Home, Freeport. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. until the time of service also at Burke Tubbs. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery in Polo.
