Michael E. Haffele

Michael E. Haffele, 67, of Freeport, died Friday February 26, 2021 at FHN Memorial Hospital. He was born August 15, 1953 in Newport, Rhode Island, the son of Eldon and Jeannine (Kuhleman) Haffele. Michael worked at Bocker Automotive for 31 years before his retirement in 2019. Michael is survived by his father, Eldon Haffele of Gratiot, WI; two sons, Brian (Jen) Haffele of Pickerington, OH, and B.J. (Julia) Haffele of Carroll, OH; daughter, Beth Haffele of Columbus, OH; significant other, Diane Belk of Freeport; three step-children, Yvette (Chris) Work of Rock Island, IL, Jennifer Belk of Volo, IL, and Jessica (Mike) Witt of Camanche, IA.; four brothers Dan (Barb) Haffele of Warren, IL, Tim Haffele of Gratiot, WI, and Ken (Sue) Haffele of Monroe, WI, and Greg Haffele of Gratiot, WI; and eleven grandchildren, Drew, Alex, Cole, Adan, Harvey, Stella, Chandler, Amber, Devon, Zane and Ian. Michael was preceded in death by his mother, Jeannine Haffele. Due to the COVID 19 Pandemic private family services will be held Friday March 5, 2021.
