Michael A. Upmann

Michael A. Upmann, 64, of Freeport, died Thursday, February 15, 2018 in his home. Michael was born June 5, 1953 in Freeport, the son of Louis and Mary (Bonjour) Upmann. He worked as a cheese maker for Dorman Cheese Company for many years. Michael was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Apple River. He enjoyed following the Green Bay Packers, being in the outdoors, and working on his cars. Surviving are his brothers, Jeff (Susan) Upmann of Winnebago and David Upmann of Janesville, Wisconsin; two sisters, Mary (Ron) Berget of South Wayne, Wisconsin and Joanne Korn of Beloit, Wisconsin; also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Michael was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother Robert Upmann. Graveside Services will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery (Apple River) at a later date.
