Melissa Farshtchi

Melissa Farshtchi, 42, died Wednesday, November 18th, 2015 at UW Hospital Madison, WI. She was born September 24, 1973 in Freeport, Illinois. Melissa was the daughter of Julianne (Clark) Brady Pearl City & Robert H Brady of Freeport. Melissa married Mark Farshtchi on October 21, 1995 at St John's Lutheran Church in Pearl City. She worked as a paraeducator in the Freeport School District until her illness. She graduated from Pearl City School and Highland College. She also attended Illinois State University. Melissa cherished spending time with her family, especially her three daughters. She enjoyed camping, gardening, animals, & cooking. She loved to make soup and share with her friends and neighbors. She is survived by her husband, Mark Farshtchi; her daughters Makenna, Molly, and Miranda Farshtchi all of Freeport; her mother, Julianne Brady of Pearl City; her father Robert Brady of Freeport; her sister Jessica (Brady) Schutte of Freeport; she is also survived by her father in law and mother in law Ahmad & Judy Farshtchi of Antioch, and her sister in law and brother in Law Lisa (Farshtchi) and Bryan Reed of Virginia; her brother & sister in law Michael & Monica Farshtchi of Las Vegas; her great aunt Carol Payne of Freeport; nieces & nephews; and many cousins; she is also survived by her lifelong friend, Heidi (Gipe) Pena of Pearl City. Visitation will be at Burke Tubbs Funeral Home Sunday November 22, 2015 from 1:00-5:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held at St John's Lutheran Church, Pearl City, IL at 11:00 A.M.
