Maxwell "Max" Andrew Krell

Maxwell "Max" Andrew Krell, 23, of Freeport, died Sunday August 30, 2020. Max was born May 18, 1997 in Freeport, the son of Scott Krell and Theresa (Cooper) Krell. He was a 2016 graduate of Freeport High School. Max enjoyed hiking and tennis. Max will always be remembered as a talented musician, his ability to find humor in everything, and his love and appreciation for nature. Surviving are his father, Scott (Sue) Krell; and mother, Theresa Krell; brother, Alex Krell of Mesa, Arizona; and maternal grandmother, Virginia Cooper. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday September 5, 2020 at Park Hills Evangelical Free Church in Freeport, IL, Pastor Mark Balmer will officiate. Visitation will be held at 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Masks and social distancing will be required. If anyone has photographs of Max please bring them to the visitation/service to share. A memorial has been established in Max's memory.
