Mary M. Greenfield

Mary M. Greenfield, 85, of Freeport, died Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at Stephenson Nursing Center. Mary was born on December 21, 1929 in Freeport, the daughter of Jay and Helen (Meyers) Greenfield. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mary was part-owner of Balz-Heritage Travel. She enjoyed traveling, playing cards, and spending time with her family and friends. Surviving are longtime friend and caregiver, Donna Klapp of Freeport; six nieces, and one nephew. Mary was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Donald Greenfield; and one sister, Jeanne. Funeral Mass will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 19, 2015 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Rev. Timothy Barr will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at the church. Burial will in St. Joseph Cemetery.
