Mary M. Confer

Mary M. Confer, 90, went to be With the Lord on Saturday November 9, 2013 at Parkview Home in Freeport, Illinois. Mary was born in Freeport on May 1, 1923, to Lloyd and Esther (Noeske) Confer. Over the years, she remained in the Freeport area where she had many friends, especially within her church and through her Christian outreach. She worked in various sales positions until joining Micro Switch - Honeywell as computers became of age. After many years serving in this capacity, she retired from Honeywell. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Esther Confer, her brothers, Lawrence Confer of Freeport, and Ben Confer of Medford, Oregon. Survivors are a nephew, Aril (Krystil) Confer of Reno, NV; Niece, Debbie (Confer) Jack Angel of Monterey, CA; cousin, Joseph (Rose) Noeske of Cedarville. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday at Burke Tubbs Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery.
