Mary L. Lamm

Mary Louise Lamm, 83, of Freeport, went to be with the Lord on Saturday October 22, 2022. She was born January 20, 1939 in Rockford, IL, the daughter of Roy and Lucille (Gerdes) Zimmerman. Mary married Frank Lamm June 30, 1962; he died January 14, 2008. Mary worked for the Rockford Register Star, Colony Brands and Structo Manufacturing. She was a member of Gospel Outreach Church. She loved her animals and enjoyed gardening. Mary was a breast cancer survivor. Mary is survived by her three daughters, Becky (Stewart) Reuber, Kim (Mike Homan) Klouser, and Jodi (Terry) Hughes; companion, Lee Vehmeier; grandchildren, Erin (Sergio) Vergas, Andrea (Jason) Hawk, Ben (Sara Schwoob), Timmy (Rachel Kelsey) Klouser, Montana (Collin Bamberg) Hughes, and Sidney Hughes; and seven great-grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, and sisters. A memorial service will be at 1:00 P.M. Thursday October 27, 2022 at Gospel Outreach Church with Pastor Steve Gearing officiating.
