Mary A. Buss

Mary A. Buss, 63, of Freeport, died Friday July 14, 2017 in her home. Mary was born April 24, 1954 in Macomb, Illinois, the daughter of Lloyd and Jean (Lawrence) Feldman. She married Ronnie Buss on September 15, 1973. Mary was a hair stylist for many years and also worked as a realtor. Mary loved to read and a book was never to far from her reach. She loved being together with her family, spending time with her grandchildren was what made her most happy. Surviving are her son, Bryan (Misty) Buss of Freeport; two daughters, Tiffany Buss of Freeport and Kacey (Rance Stewart) Buss of Freeport; sister, Carol (Gordon) Cnare of Pecatonica; three grandchildren, Breahna Buss, Areahna Buss, and Korbyn Stewart; special sister-in-law, Vicki (Gary) Carr of Freeport; two special friends, Debbie Horney and Luann Stewart. Also surviving are her best friend and dog, Nora. Mary was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Jack. Funeral services will be 12:00 Wednesday July 19, 2017 at Burke Tubbs Funeral Home. Rev. Dr. Willis Schwichtenberg will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at Burke Tubbs. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
