Marvin Roy Hutmacher

Marvin Roy Hutmacher, 79, of Freeport, died Friday October 14, 2011 at the Stephenson Nursing Center in Freeport. Marvin was born on July 6, 1932 the son of Roy and Florance (Runkle) Hutmacher. Marvin served for the U.S. Army Medical Corps from 1954-1956. On October 29, 1958 Marvin and Betty Lowery were married in Iowa City, Iowa. Marvin worked for Kelly Springfield for 28 years. Survivors include; wife; Betty Hutmacher of Freeport, two sons; Perry Hutmacher and Daniel (Sarah) Hutmacher both of Freeport and one daughter Melinda Hutmacher of Freeport. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister. Visitation will be Monday October 17, 2011 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Burke Tubbs Funeral Home.
