Marvin H. Klemm

Marvin H. Klemm, 79, of Freeport, IL passed away Thursday September 24, 2020 in his home surrounded by his family. He was born May 19, 1941 in Freeport, IL to Marvin Sr. and Alice (Kepner) Klemm. On January 4, 1982 he married Patricia Scheidegger in Freeport, IL. Marvin owned and operated Forreston Tool. He was the President of the HAM Radio Club in Freeport. He was a licensed gun dealer and enjoyed woodworking, target practicing, and helping his grandkids with various activities. He is survived by his wife Pat of Freeport, IL; children Kathy Klemm of Guerneville, CA, Kathy (Jeff) Downing of Dakota, IL, Bob (Valerie) Davis of Linden, WI, and Chistine (Rob) Gorham of Freeport, IL brother Tom (Jane) Klemm of Freeport, IL; 14 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Marvin is preceded in death by his parents, Marvin Sr., and Alice Klemm, step-father Gebhard Hauser and step-son James Davis. Funeral services will 11:00 A.M. Tuesday September 29, 2020 at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home with Rev. Rick Bader officiating. A visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery and Mausoleum. A memorial has been established in Marvin's memory.
