Marlene Ann Dorty, 71, of Freeport, passed away, Wednesday March 2, 2022, at Walnut Acres (Stephenson Nursing Home). Marlene was born September 19, 1950, in Freeport, the daughter of Walter and Fern (Mattes) Dorty. She was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. Marlene worked at Don's Oasis for 18 years.Marlene was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Paul and Larry.Private services will be held at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens with Rev. Frank Lay officiating.
