Mark D. Kielsmeier

Mark D. Kielsmeier, 50, of Freeport, died Saturday March 10, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. He was born December 26, 1967 in Freeport, IL, the son of Duane and Barbara (Deethardt) Kielsmeier. Mark worked for UPS. He was a huge fan of the band The Who, and the Chicago Cubs. He enjoyed sports, playing softball, and reading. Mark is survived by his mother, Barbara Kielsmeier of Freeport; daughter, Madison (Kendal Parker) Kielsmeier of Peoria, IL; brother, Steven Kielsmeier of Freeport, IL ;sister Polly Kielsmeier of Myrtle Beach, SC; and niece, Cora Kielsmeier of Forreston, IL. He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents. A funeral service will be at 6:00 P.M. Wednesday March 14, 2018 at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home in Freeport. Visitation will be from 3:00 P.M. until the time of service Wednesday also at Burke-Tubbs. Entombment will be at Oakland Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in his memory.
