Marion A Bryant

Marion A. Bryant, 94, of Freeport, passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2011, peacefully in her home under Hospice care following a long illness. Marion was born on the July 11, 1917 in Jo Daviess County the daughter of Grover T. and Mary Jane (Rhodes) Starr. Marion married Dale E. Bryant on May 26, 1937 in Freeport. Dale passed away July 31, 1998. Marion was a homemaker . She enjoyed cooking and caring for her family. She enjoyed her dogs; Cricket, Buttons and Winkie, and her cat; Jade. Survivors include; son; Dale T. Bryant of Freeport, daughter-in-law Janice Bryant of Freeport; her sister-in-law Dolores Rillie of Stockton and family; Also surviving are 8 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren. Marion was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son; Robert E. and daughter Lavonne and three brothers. Memorial Services will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, December 29, 2011 at Burke Tubbs Funeral Home in Freeport with Rev. Donnley Dutcher officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at Burke Tubbs.
