Marian L. Ratmeyer

Marian L. Ratmeyer, 81, of Forreston, died Friday May 6, 2016 at OSF St. Anthony Health Care System in Rockford. She was born February 27, 1935 in Ogle County, IL, the daughter of Albert and Esther (Duitsman) Greenfield. She married Bobby Ratmeyer June 5, 1954 in Forreston, IL; he died September 3, 2013. Marian worked in the Ogle County Clerks Office, and was also a homemaker. She was a member of Forreston Grove Church. Marian is survived by her son Carlton (Pam) Ratmeyer of Rockford, IL; her daughter Renee (Jeff) Biesemeier of Lena, IL; two granddaughters Brynn (Troy) Turman and Blythe (Jake) Dalton; and two great-grandchildren Berkley and Braxton Dalton. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and three brothers. A memorial service will be held noon Wednesday May 11, 2016 at Forreston Grove Church. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at the church. Cremation rites have been accorded. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established for Forreston Grove Church.
