Marian K. Reeves

Marian K. Reeves, 93, of Freeport, IL passed away Saturday February 26, 2022 at FHN Memorial Hospital. She was born May 19, 1928 in Des Moines, IA to Eldred and Beryl (Boner) Koppes. On June 19, 1948 she married Donald Reeves at the Little Brown Church in the Vale in Nashua, IA. Don passed away April 25, 1988. Marian enjoyed crocheting and playing cards with family and friends. She is survived by her son Donald (Karen) Reeves II of Freeport, IL; step-daughter Tracy (Aaron) Love; grandchildren Annette (Chris) Watson and Michael Reeves; two step-grandchildren Rhys Love and Brianne Love; and five great-grandchildren Hailey Watson, Jacob Watson, Kevin Watson, Derek Watson, Alex Reeves and Tana Detellem. Preceding Marian in death is her parents, husband, two brothers Robert Koppes and Charles Koppes, daughter Rebecca Detellem and son-in-law Joseph Detellem. Cremation rites have been accorded. A private family burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. A memorial has been established in Marian's memory.
