Marian F. Voss

Marian Voss, 86, of Freeport, died Wednesday March 14, 2012 at Freeport Rehab and Health Care Center. Marian was born October 3, 1925 in Stephenson County, the daughter of Arthur and Mabel (Kortner) Baldauf. She married Milford Voss on February 14, 1949. He passed away in 1967. She then married Virgil Voss on December 1, 1973. He passed away March 11, 2010. Marian was a clerk for the Federal Bankruptcy Court for many years, until the offices moved to Rockford. She then went to work for Attorney Eckert'™s office. Surviving Marian are three children; Nancy (James) Dudley of Madison, WI, Richard (Nancy) Voss of Freeport, Patricia (Robert) Quittschreiber of Lena. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Marian was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, and 3 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday March 17, 2012 at Burke Tubbs Funeral Home with Rev. Kathleen Brinkmeier officiating. There will be a visitation from 9:30 A.M. until the time of service Saturday at Burke Tubbs.
