Margaret Elaine Norman

Margaret Elaine Norman, 76, of Freeport went home to be with the Lord Wednesday May 27, 2020 at FHN Memorial Hospital. She was born December 5, 1943 to Curtis R. and Lillian (Nelson) James. Elaine married Howard A. Norman in Iowa City, IA on September 5, 1964. She enjoyed being outside, gardening and taking long walks with Polly, the family golden doodle. She was a longtime member of Park Hills Evangelical Free Church in Freeport Elaine is survived by her husband Howard of Freeport, Il; two daughters Michelle Norman of Iowa City, IA and Amy Norman of Rockford, IL; brother Floyd James of Cedar Falls, IA; and four grandchildren. Preceding Elaine in death is her parents. Cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
