Marcella R Gaul

Marcella R. Gaul, 78, of Mt. Morris and formerly of Forreston, died Wednesday May 9, 2012 at K.S.B. Hospital in Dixon. Marcella was born on July 2, 1933 in Jo Daviess County the daughter of George and Rosa (Hart) Frederick. On August 29, 1951 Marcella married Donald L. Gaul in Lanark, IL. Donald died on October 22, 2005. Marcella worked at Crum-Forster Insurance Company and she was also a homemaker. She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church in Forreston. Family was very important to Marcella especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed going to garage sales and watching for humming birds. Survivors include; three daughters; Donna (Randy) Rinehart of Polo, Doris (Gordon) Strong of Forreston and Marjorie (Steve) Lundquist of Mt. Morris, two sisters; Joyce Pfile of Freeport and Opal Ritzman of Lena, five grandchildren; Steve Rinehart, Tina (Scott) Marshall, Doug Strong, Jenny Strong and Kyle Lundquist. Also surviving are three great-grandchildren; Lewis Poster, Andrew Allen and Rebecca Marshall. Marcella was preceded in death by her parents, husband, five brothers; Wayne, Walter, Russel, Lloyd and Paul, two sisters; Lucille Holland and twin sister Marjorie Rose and one granddaughter Hope Lundquist. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday May 12, 2012 at Burke Tubbs Funeral Home in Freeport with Rev. Doc Newcomb officiating. Burial will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
