Lyle Wayne Hundertmark, 91, of German Valley, passed away Sunday, June 12, 2016 at the Stephenson Nursing Center. Lyle was born May 8, 1925 in Adeline, the son of Albert and Ethel (Schreiber) Hundertmark. Lyle graduated from Leaf River High School, and served two years in the Navy during World War II. He farmed for many years before retiring in 1984. Lyle attended Silver Creek Reformed Church in German Valley where he enjoyed spending time with the XYZ Group. Lyle also enjoyed gardening, spending time with family, and being a member of the Antique Engine Club of Freeport. Lyle is survived by his a sister, Mae Hundertmark of Freeport; and brother, Waldo (Iva) Hundertmark of Freeport; sister in law, Kay (Ronald) Hundertmark of German Valley, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Eldon and Ronald Hundertmark. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday June 15, 2016 at Silver Creek Reformed Church in German Valley. Rev. Grant Mulder will officiate. Visitation will be Tuesday 5:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. also at Silver Creek Reformed Church. Burial will be in North Grove Evangelical Cemetery in Leaf River.
