Lurean "Lou" Campbell

Lurean "Lou" Campbell, 93, of Freeport, passed away, Wednesday, November 17, 2021, in her daughters home. Lou was born August 13, 1928, in Lena, the daughter of Ira and Susan Knight. Lou married William O. Campbell October 5, 1946, in Freeport. Mr. Campbell passed away, March 14, 2004. Surviving is her daughter, Vickie (Joe) Kavran of Freeport; brother, Bernard (Chris) Knight of Shannon; sister, Deloris (Jake) Neuschwander of Lena; daughter-in-law, Sharon Campbell of Monroe, WI.; four grandchildren, Robert (Monika) Kavran and their children, Emma and Lucas of O'Fallon; Thomas (Lexi) Kavran and their daughter, Aria of Rockton; Jason Campbell and his daughter Ashley of Monroe, WI., and Gidget Campbell and her children Tori, Jamie, and Jessi Renee of Tennessee; also surviving are seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren with one on the way. Mrs. Campbell is preceded in death by her parents, Ira and Susan; husband, William; three sons, Richard, Leslie, and Robert; five brothers, four sisters, and one great-great-granddaughter. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday November 27, 2021, at Burke Tubbs Funeral Home. Deacon Steven Pospischil will officiate. Visitation noon until the time of service.
