Lovie Sullivan

Lovie Sullivan departed this earthly life on November 24, 2021 at Freeport Memorial Hospital in Freeport, IL. She was born July 4, 1944 in Drew, MS to the late Carrie Gatlin and Lewis Faulkner, she was the seventh of ten children. Lovie was a devoted mother to her eleven children and was a loving grandmother. Lovie is survived by eight sons, James Gatlin, Richard Gatlin, Calvin Steward, Henry Sullivan, Byron Sullivan, Curtis Sullivan, Donald Sullivan and Micah Sullivan; four daughters, Virginia Dallas, Linda Sullivan, Doris Collins, and Clara Sullivan; brother, Chester Gatlin; sister, Minnie Pearl Chairse; 26 grandchildren; and 40 great-grandchildren; Lovie was preceded in death by her parents; and seven siblings, Will Henry Davis, Isabella Gatlin, Willis Gatlin, RC Gatlin, Ella Mae Shegog, Carrie Mae Steward, and Jessie Gatlin. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday December 1, 2021 at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home in Freeport, IL with Chaplin Sean Huguenin officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service also at Burke-Tubbs. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Freeport, IL. A memorial has been established in Lovie's memory.
