Lorraine Ulrick

Lorraine Ulrick, 89, of Freeport, IL, passed away Saturday September 7, 2024 at Ascension Living Saint Joseph Village in Freeport. She was born July 14, 1935 in Joliet, IL, the daughter of Otto and Freda (Hensche) Pohlers. On August 6, 1960 she married Charles Ulrick Jr. at First Lutheran Church in Joliet, IL. Charles passed away August 27, 2024. Lorraine was a member of Afolkey Grace United Methodist Church with her husband. Her work career included the shoe department at JC Penney for many years, followed by FHN Memorial Hospital in the business office for 20 years. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading, and jigsaw puzzles. Lorraine had a great love for cats and kittens.

She is survived by her two sons Steve (Elizabeth) Ulrick of Freeport, IL and David Ulrick of Belvidere, IL; and three nieces Anne Musich Johnson of Joliet, IL, Kathy Musich of Joliet, IL, and Paula Musich of Ashland, OR.

Preceding Lorraine in death are her parents, husband, and sister Doris Musich.

Services will take place at Orangeville United Methodist Church on Saturday, September 14th. Visitation will be at 10:00, memorial service at 11:00. Burial will take place at a later time in a private service for immediate family only.
