Lois K. Fosler

Lois K. Fosler, 88, of Freeport, died in her home Thursday. Lois was born on June 3, 1922 in Freeport the daughter of Carl and Gertrude (Penticoff) Herbig. On July 31, 1941 Lois and Dick E. Fosler Sr. were married in Freeport. Lois was a homemaker. She enjoyed reading, cooking, sewing and doing crossword puzzles. Survivors include her husband Dick E. Fosler Sr. of Freeport, son, Dick E. Fosler Jr. of Egan, Minnesota, two daughters; Sandra Fosler of Freeport and Pamela Rust of Lewisville, Texas, brother Richard Herbig of Downers Grove, Illinois, four grandchildren; Laurie, Katie, Bryan and Bethany, also surviving are four great grandchildren. Lois was preceded in death by her parents and one brother. Funeral Services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday December 20, 2010 at Burke Tubbs Funeral Home with Rev. Diane Jochum officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. until the time of service at Burke Tubbs on Monday. Burial will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been establish in her memory.
