Lois Jean Monshower

Lois Jean Monshower, 62, of Freeport died Wednesday December 13,2023 at FHN FHN Memorial Hospital. She was born February 6, 1961 in Freeport, IL, the daughter of Joseph and Lavina (Veer) Huenefeld.

Lois worked For Colony Brands. She enjoyed singing, line dancing, fishing, camping, cooking, and baking pies. She was a member of Stephenson County Antique Engine Club.

Survivors include her husband, Angelo Ishmon; her sons, Shane (Christina) Goodrich, Marlo (Skeeter) Goodrich Jr., and Jeremy Goodrich; stepsons, Dangelo and Da Mario Ishmon; her daughter, Amanda J. Goodrich; stepdaughters, Michelle (Ralph) White, Michelle, Dawn (Richard) Geerts, Shanice Greenfield, and Angelika Ishmon; brothers, Jerome (Sue) Huenefeld, Joseph (Cherry) Huenefeld, Randy (Dawn) Huenefeld, and Tracy Huenefeld; sisters, Carol (Todd) Hulll and JoaAnn (Fred) Huenefeld; also brother-in-laws, Fred Ishmon, Willie Ishmon, and Darrin Ishmon; sister- in-laws, Barnetta Jordan, Katrina Ishmon, Virginia Allen-Ishmon, and Tina Huenefeld; twenty grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and Ted Huenefeld, Le Roy Huenefeld, Austin Goodrich, and Stephanie Ishmon.

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Thursday, December 21, 2023 Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home, Freeport, IL. Visitation will be 9:00 AM until the time of service at Burke-Tubbs. Burial will be in Freeport City Cemetery.
