Linda L. Wilson

Linda L. Wilson, 75, of Freeport, died Saturday June 5, 2021, at FHN Memorial Hospital. Linda was born December 28, 1945, in Freeport, the daughter of Robert and Betty (Finkbeiner) Reiter. She was a 1963 graduate of Freeport High School. Linda worked at General Casualty where she was head of the Policy Typing Department until her marriage in 1968. She married Patrick Wilson March 15, 1968, in Rockton, Illinois, at the Church by the Road. She was a member of St. Johns Church. Linda always took great care of her sons and the house. She was well known for being a neatness fanatic. Surviving is her husband, Patrick Wilson of Freeport; sons, Bradley (Tina) Wilson of Hillsborough, N.C. and Brian (Carrie) Wilson of Tucson, AZ. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Robert Reiter; nephew, Lane Reiter. Private family services will be held. Burial will take place in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
