Lillian B. Taylor

Lillian B. Taylor, 96, of Freeport, IL, died Tuesday December 21, 2021. She was born June 24, 1925 in Freeport, IL, the daughter of William and Minnie (Powe) Henry. Lillian married Harry Taylor, Sr., May 23, 1947 in Freeport, IL; he died February 28, 1980. Lillian was employed by Micro-Switch-Honeywell. She was a member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church where she was a member of the choir, Mothers Board, Decoration Committee, Missionary Board, and Study group. Lillian is survived by her son, Harry Taylor. Jr.; daughter, Sharon Williams; six grandchildren, Kristopher Williams, Adrienne Taylor, Erin (Rae) Mieskowski, Morhgin Taylor, Jackson Taylor, and Madilyn Taylor; and three great-grandchildren, Lillian Taylor, Violet palmer, and Valrie Palmer. Also surviving are a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; son, Jeffrey Taylor; son-in-law, Melvin Williams; one brother; and two sisters. Mrs. Taylor's family would like to extend a special thank you to ALL STAFF of Ascension Saint Joseph for the care and kindness they showed Lillian. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday December 31, 2021 at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Freeport. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Freeport.
