Laurie A. Mullen

Laurie A. Mullen, 60, of Freeport, died Sunday December 15, 2019 at Rockford Memorial Hospital. Laurie was born July 21, 1959 in Warwick, Rhode Island, the daughter of Lawrence and Lorraine (Ferria) Fecteau. Laurie married the love of her life John "Moon" W. Mullen Jr. on September 11, 2004. She enjoyed being in nature, crocheting, working on arts and crafts, playing cards, and cheering on her beloved New England Patriots. Surviving Laurie are her mother, Lorraine Duckworth of North Scituate, Rhode Island; father, Lawrence Fecteau Sr. of Coventry, Rhode Island; two step-sons, Chad Mullen of Pearl City and Matthew (Audrey) Mullen of South Carolina; step-daughter, Lindsay (Casey) Stephan of Freeport; brother, Lawrence Fecteau Jr. of Coventry, Rhode Island; step-brother, Scott (Denise) Duckworth of Coventry, Rhode, Island; sister, Carol Hayes of Warwick, Rhode Island; four step-grandchildren, Rayce, Taytum, Delaney, and Grady. Also surviving are a host of nieces and nephews. Laurie was preceded in death by her husband Moon, who passed away October 15, 2018. Gathering of family and friends will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday December 21, 2019 at First Lutheran Church. Following the gathering a luncheon will be served at First Lutheran.
