Lana J. Schrader

Lana J. Schrader, 61, of Dakota, Il, died Tuesday March 17, 2015 at FHN Memorial Hospital in Freeport, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born December 9, 1953 in Freeport, IL, the daughter of David and Lorraine (Dole) Gray. She married Lawrence Schrader "Uncle Larry" June 26, 1981 in Rockton, Il; he died May 9, 2006. Lana worked at Eagles, Sullivans, and Stephens Market Grocery Stores. She was a member of the Eagles Club. She enjoyed cooking and feeding people, golf, and the Green Bay packers. Lana is survived by her two sons Joseph (daughter-in-law Vicki) Pizzolato of Monroe, WI and Christopher (daughter-in-law Stephenie) Pizzolato of Freeport, IL; her step-daughter Michele Myers of Monroe, WI; two brothers David Gray of Davis, IL and Kenneth Gray of Freeport, IL; two sisters Jodene (brother-in-law Darrell) Lacher of Freeport, IL and Sandy Gray of Freeport, IL; six grandchildren Sara, Tony, Meghan, Jacob, Jordan, and Kyrsten; and special nieces Monica and Marcy. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Per her wishes there will be no services. A private family service will be held at a later date. Cremation rites have been accorded.
