Lamoine A. Stukenberg

LaMoine A. Stukenberg, of Forreston, passed away Friday July 10, 2015, at F.H.N Memorial Hospital surrounded by his wife and children. LaMoine was born January 4, 1942, in Ogle County, Illinois to Donald and Margaret (DeWall) Stukenberg. He married Jacqueline "Jackie" Carr on March 6, 1959 in Ogle County. Illinois. He and his wife Jackie farmed their family farm for 41 years in Ogle County Illinois. He was a member of the Forreston United Methodist Church. LaMoine enjoyed classic cars, motorcycles, car racing, checking out corn fields, and especially loved farming. LaMoine is survived by his wife, Jackie of Forreston; son, Darrel Stukenberg of Forreston; daughters, Sheila (John) Carr of Freeport, Cindy (Joe) Bonnell of Dixon Ill.; brother, Marsdon Stukenberg of Forreston; eight grandchildren Shannon (Derrick) Schrader of Mankato, Minnesota, Adam (Amy) Meyer of Dixon, Illinois, Jennifer (Kyle) Tucker of Freeport, Jenna Stukenberg of Rockford, Dylan Stukenberg of Leaf River, Joey Bonnell of Dixon, Illinois, Jessica Bonnell of Chicago, and Jacob Bonnell of Dixon; four great-grandchildren, Saige Tucker, Maleia Tucker, Elijah Meyer, and Aiden Parker. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday July 14, 2015 at the Forreston United Methodist Church. Rev. David Poust will officiate. Visitation will be Monday from 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Burke Tubbs Funeral Home in Forreston. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in Mr. Stukenberg's memory.
