Kevin T. Calam

Kevin Thomas Calam, 34, of Freeport, IL passed away Wednesday October 12, 2022 in his home after a prolonged heart condition. He was born March 6, 1988 in Freeport, IL to Ralph Calam and Susan Lee. He earned his GED from Highland Community College in Freeport. Kevin enjoyed working in the yard, music, and video games. Electronics were Kevin's real passion. He was fascinated by electronics and enjoyed tinkering with all kinds of electronics and technology. He is survived by his grandmother Connie Calam; mother Susan Lee; sister Ariel Calam; and many uncles, aunts, and cousins. Preceding Kevin in death are his maternal grandparents, paternal grandfather, father, and sister Shantell Broge. Private services will be held. Cremation rites have been accorded. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. A memorial has been established in Kevin's memory for Swedish American Hospital Cardiac Unit.
