Kevin P. Fleischer

Kevin P. Fleischer, 62, of Freeport passed away Thursday September 17, 2020 at home surrounded by his family. He was born October 14, 1957 in Freeport, IL to Kenneth P. and Helen E. (Boelkes) Fleischer. On November 14, 1981 Kevin married Debra Ditsworth in Cedarville, IL. Kevin was a 1975 graduate of Freeport High School. He worked for his family at Ken Harold Buick Pontiac and later at Bocker Auto Group and recently at Ruda Chevrolet in Monroe, WI. He was a member of the Freeport Eagles Club #679. Kevin enjoyed Nascar races and was a fan of Tom Brady. He was known for his dedication to his work and most importantly his family. He is survived by his wife Debra of Freeport, IL; son Jason Cross of Freeport; daughter Jodi (Andy) Graber of Rockford, IL; grandchildren Jackson and Jamison Graber of Rockford; brother Robert J. (Dionis) Fleischer of Freeport; father-in-law Glenn Ditsworth; brother-in-law Tim Ditsworth; sister-in-law Sandy (Joe) Lacy; niece Hannah Lacy; nephews Kyle (Tracy) Fleischer, Korbin Fleischer, and Greg Ditsworth; and great-niece Kierra. Kevin is preceded in death by his parents, mother-in-law Ruth Ditsworth, uncle Bob Fleischer and sister-in-law Jewell McNett. A gathering will be held from 1:00-3:00 P.M. Saturday September 19, 2020 at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home. The family requests casual attire be worn to the gathering. A memorial has been established in Kevin's memory.
