Kenneth R. Schneiderman

Kenneth R. Schneiderman, 89, of Freeport, died Friday August 14, 2015 at FHN Memorial Hospital. Kenneth was born on October 10, 1925 in Freeport, the son of William H. and Lena E. (Ruthe) Schneiderman. He married Leola E. Brinkmeier on February 1, 1947 in Shannon. Kenneth served in the United States Army-Air Force during World War II. He farmed in Ogle County from 1950 to 1973 and also worked at the Stephenson Service Company until retirement. He was a member of the Baileyville Reformed Church and the Illinois Brown Swiss Association. He enjoyed camping and spending time with his family. Surviving are his wife, Leola E. Schneiderman of Freeport; two sons, Dennis R. (Lynette) Schneiderman of Fairview Park, Ohio (formerly of Baileyville) and Steven W. (Janice) Schneiderman of Lena; five grandchildren, Lance Schneiderman, Jay Schneiderman, Kory Schneiderman, Timothy Schneiderman, and Katie Schneiderman. Also surviving are nine great-grandchildren. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Lester, Robert, and Harry. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday August 22, 2015 at the Baileyville Reformed Church. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at the Church. Pastor Bruce Otto will officiate. Private family burial services will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
