Kelly Joe Hill

Kelly Joe Hill, 54, of Forreston, passed away on, February 25, 2023 at his home. Kelly was born on July 24, 1968 in Rockford the son of Charlene Spatafora. He married Jennifer "Jen" Sue Giedd on April 30, 2022 in Rockford. Kelly was a talented carpenter and woodworker. He would see a vision and was able to bring it to life. Kelly along with his wife Jen were avid animal lovers raising 6 dogs, cats and any stray that came their way. He and his best friend Vid not only worked alongside each other, but also enjoyed riding their Harley Davidson motorcycles together. Kelly will be deeply missed by all those who knew him and he never met a stranger. Kelly is survived by his wife, Jen Hill of Forreston; two sons, Kasey (Theresa) Erckfritz of Machesney Park, Ricky (Teah) Erckfritz of Chattanooga, TN; four grandchildren, Juan, Olivia, Carter, Kenny; his mother, Charlene Spatafora; three siblings, Polly, Jack, Kim; mother-in-law, Sue Giedd; dear friends, Vid (Tammy) Adkins and Cherie (George) Hughes. He was preceded in death by his sister, Penny. Cremation Rites have been accorded. A celebration of Kelly's Life will be held at a later date. A memorial has been established.
