Kathy M. Rinehart

Kathy M. Rinehart, 47, of Freeport, IL passed away Thursday August 26, 2021. She was born October 5, 1973 in Freeport to George and Linda (Johnson) Rinehart. She was employed at Kolb Lena. Kathy was a devoted mother to her sons. She was a caring person who loved helping other people. She enjoyed taking walks in Krape Park with her father and having lunch with her mother. Family gatherings were an important part of her life. Kathy also enjoyed shopping and watching her favorite tv shows such as Days of Our Lives, America's Got Talent, and RuPaul's Drag Race. Kathy is survived by her parents George Rinehart and Linda (Jim) Ditsworth both of Freeport; two sons Jordan and Jacob Pizzolato of Freeport; two brothers Derek (Amy) Rinehart of Denver, CO, Tyler Rinehart of Freeport and sister Amy Rinehart-Frazier of Roscoe, IL.; step-sisters Susie (Andy) Dvorak of Freeport, Pam Ditsworth of Freeport; nephews Timothy (Laura) Krieger, Matthew Krieger and nieces Hailey (Cory) Frazier, and Maiah Frazier. Preceding Kathy in death is her paternal and maternal grandparents, sister Kelsey Rinehart, and step-brother Donald Ditsworth. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday September 3, 2021 at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home in Freeport with Rev. Wayne Fischer officiating. A visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Thursday September 2, 2021 at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. A memorial has been established in Kathy's memory.
