Kathryn Anne Eggemeier

Kathryn Anne Eggemeier, 76, of Freeport, died Sunday April 28, 2019. She was born May 22, 1942 in Freeport, IL, the daughter of Lee and Eloise (Listenbarger) Castle. Kathryn married Kenneth Wayne Eggemeier May 19, 1972 in Freeport, IL. Kathryn worked at Micro-Switch for 28 years. She loved her cats and crocheting. She will be remembered for her kind hearted soul. Kathryn is survived by her husband, Kenneth Wayne Eggemeier; sons, Michael and Stephan Black both of Freeport, IL; daughter, Lynn Marie (John) Wichelt of Kalamazoo, MI; five grandchildren, Joshua Black, Jessica (Terry Sr.) Ross, Emily Sager, Megan Sager, and Matthew Wichelt; and two great-grandchildren, Terry Ross, Jr. and Aaliyah Ross. She was preceded in death by her parents; eight brothers; and one sister. Graveside funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday May 3, 2019 at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
