Katelin "Katie" M. Croffoot

On Wednesday, March 8, 2023 Katie, loving daughter, sister, granddaughter, aunt, niece, and cousin passed away at the young age of 26. Katie was born February 28, 1997 in Monroe, WI to Denia (Clubb) Fleming and Craig Croffoot. Katie was a free spirited and loving person. She was a very caring person who always helped others before herself. She loved spending time with family and friends. She was always making people smile or laugh in any time of the day or night. She always put her pain and hurt aside to make sure everyone else was good. Katie is survived by her parents Denia (Shawn) Fleming of Rockford, IL, Craig (Jolene) Croffoot of Stockton, IL; siblings, Erin Croffoot of Stockton, IL, Steven (Kelsee) Croffoot of Rockford, IL, Marshawn Fleming and Jaylon Reints both of Rock Falls, IL, Aireona Fleming of Freeport, IL, Kiana Swift of Polo, IL, Xavier, Shawn Jr., and Jasmine Fleming of Rockford, IL; grandmother's, Gayla Clubb of Monroe Center, IL and Sandra Rahorn of Stockton, IL; grandparents Vernon and Deneese Croffoot; great-grandmother, Caroline Kessen of Rochelle, IL; niece, Makenna Croffoot; nephews, Maverick and Maxtyn Croffoot of Rockford, IL; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and special friend Richard Arbogast. Katie was preceded in death by her grandpa's, Melvin "Tom" Clubb and Donald "Don" Rahorn; uncle Justin Clubb, great-grandparents, Gerald "Jud" and Eleanor "Tiny" Croffoot, David Kessen, and Leo Reusch; special friend and uncle Jamie Campbell; and many other great friends and family. Funeral Service will be 7:00pm on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home in Freeport with Rev. Robert Phelps, officiating. Visitation will be prior to the funeral service from 4:00pm-7:00pm at the funeral home. Cremation Rites will follow services.
