Karolyn I. Spickler

Karolyn I. Spickler, 81, of Freeport, died Tuesday February 26, 2019, at Liberty Village. Karolyn was born July 30, 1937 in Rockford, Illinois, the daughter of Clayton and Leafie (Bowley) Keast. She married Roger Spickler. Roger passed away December 10, 2011. Surviving are three daughters, Michele (James) Kellner of Stuart, Florida, Melisa (Bruce) Bicker of Port Charlotte, Florida, and Mimi (Kevin) Johanson of Hoffman Estates; nine grandchildren, Meagan (Ken) Akerman, Amber (Keith) Lester, Tyler (Lauren) Kellner, Garrett Kellner, Clayton (Danielle) Bicker, Zach Johanson, Alyssa Kellner, Brianne Kellner, and Kiersten Johanson; and five great-grandchildren, Briston, Oakley, Kinsley, Owen and Leighton. Karolyn was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. followed by a Celebration of Life at 1:00 p.m. Saturday March 2, 2019 at Burke Tubbs Funeral Home.
