Karen Lynn Bolton

Karen Lynn Bolton, 54, of Naperville, Illinois and former Shannon resident died Wednesday in Rush-Copley Medical Center Aurora, Illinois. She was born October 29, 1956 in Freeport, Illinois, the daughter of Wayne and Gladys (Sass) Swalve. Karen was a 1974 graduate of Shannon High School. Karen married Charles Bolton on March 8, 1984 in Jamaica. Karen worked at The Chicago Board of Trade and later was employed by Crate and Barrel. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her mother of Shannon. Three brothers; Dale (Charlene) Swalve of Shannon, Darryl (Linda) Swalve of Shannon and Bruce (Ginger) Swalve of Bensenville, Ill. Four Nephews and One Niece. Also several Great-nieces and Great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and her grandparents. A visitation will be held Saturday, 11:00 A.M.
